As http://linux-xapple.org/ said.
We are a group of Linux enthusiasts formed by open-source software developers, Linux users and University Staff. Our common interest is to provide students and users with the environment to learn and apply open-source software. The on-line community, “XApple”, (short for Linux-XApple.org ) were established with friendships and setup the goal.
I'm just a volunteer of this group. We wish to become a NPO something like RaspberryPI Foundation.
I manage this forum, wiki, and a few others linux-xapple web sites.
Sorry to make you disappointed. I don't have relationship with Actions.
I have a few years embedded linux experience, My daytime job is a search engineer.
But very few of our group member actually working in Actions Semi.
And Yes, As they claim, LeMaker can direct contact with Actions. Also, we have too. Actions didn't hide from anyone.
About the sources issue, LeMaker has cooperation agreement with Actions. As I know, Actions has a group to maintain those requirements. Our task is to follow by SDK release in this early stage, So in kernel source level, We will be slower than LeMaker a step (steps). On the other hand, if the code enhancement by them and public on github, it is also a good idea we can refer. "Hope" we can grow up and eventually join the "community" by contributing or upstreaming somethings then. Now, we know we are FAR AWAY to that place.
The original plan is to maintain source code in neutral, However the current sdk is not good. ("not even 'beta'...said by someone here" ) We will have an internal meeting to discuss about this.
